From public meetings to internal planning processes, we provide advice and counsel to drive organizational change and internal initiatives. We do not have “off the shelf” processes; each process is designed around the needs, expectations, and paradigms of our client organizations.
We’ve provided communication and strategic planning processes for a range of architectural, engineering, and construction firms, helping elevate internal processes and supporting broad initiatives. We aren’t afraid to help teams tackle hard issues, but we assist them in facing challenges with grace, wit, and rigor. We document the process in clearly written reports that can be used to drive long-term action.
We help clients as public meeting facilitators to build consensus and support for broad initiatives and planning efforts. We were the lead facilitators for the Cedar River Council and for King County in each of its watershed forums on the Green/Duwamish, Lake Sammamish, Lake Washington, and Cedar River forums.
In addition to our work with private companies, we’ve provided strategic planning services for public agencies such as the Alderwood Water and Wastewater District and King County’s Water and Land Resources Division. We also have worked with King County Wastewater to drive collaboration between designers and operations and maintenance staffs. Our work with Project Controls is helping teams create standard processes for submittal review and the administration of construction contracts.
“Your expertise has been invaluable as we work toward building our Alliance and providing greater organizational impact in our local communities and in the community at large. Your candid recommendations have provided focus and a blueprint for future action. You were able to help us recognize where we had achieved success as well as challenges we face that could prohibit future success.”
Trudie Hall, Chairman, Alliance of Greater Kansas City United Ways
“Based on our experience, I can attest to the fact that these individuals provide excellent staff support: they are consistently punctual personable, encouraging, and helpful. Details are tended to with care, discussions are well-facilitated and essential conclusions duly recorded, and our final written report was superbly organized and articulated- primarily by Meg and her people, with very little editing required by the Commission members.”
Seth Dawson, Chair, Snohomish County Blue Ribbon Citizen’s Commission on Criminal Justice Priorities
“Considering the nebulous nature of strategic plans, I have reviewed many of them that did nothing more than meet the test of preparing a strategic plan. I am pleased to say that our plan is working.”
Arden Blackledge, General Manager, Alderwood Water and Wastewater District
